About our area

Oyster Harbour is centrally located between the historic, seaport city of Wilmington, NC to the north and the famous Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach SC. to the south. The charming town of Southport is also just a short drive. For additional recreational activities, there are numerous parks nearby boasting hiking trails, ball fields and picnic pavilions.

Beaches-

There are 4 spectacular beaches within minutes of Oyster Harbour. Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach and Oak Island. There are weekly outdoor summer concerts and seasonal festivals providing fun for all ages.

Golf Courses-

There are more than 30 outstanding, scenic golf courses within 30 minutes of Oyster Harbour. The choices are endless for year round golfing.

Dining-

Local seafood, fine dining, favorite chains, ethnic flavors all within 30 minutes of our community, and just minutes to ocean side dining.

Wilmington- Enjoy the natural beauty, culture and history; walk the historic river district and Riverwalk that winds around the storied Cape Fear River. Popular attractions include the Battleship NC, Airlie Gardens, NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, New Hanover Arboretum, and Boat Tours. Shopping in the city is plentiful with indoor and outdoor malls and major chain stores.

Myrtle Beach Area- Along with 60 miles of beaches, this area is home to the famous Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre and Brookgreen Gardens. There is a wide variety of restaurants, 2 Tanger Outlet centers along with indoor and outdoor malls and major chain stores. Young and old can enjoy a minor league baseball game at Pelican Stadium.
